Privacy Policy

What stays on your device

• Your pictures and video. Images, video and floor plans you load into a tool are processed in your browser and are not sent to us.
• Your work in progress. Your open project and its pictures are kept in your browser's storage so they survive a refresh.
• Files and exports. Project files, PDFs, images and 3D exports are made in your browser and saved to your device.
• Settings. Your sign-in session, preferences and a copy of your report branding are kept in your browser's storage.

You can remove all of this by clearing your browser's site data for the tool.

Analytics, session recordings and errors

We use an analytics provider to understand how the tools are used and to catch errors. It collects:

• The pages you visit, the site that sent you, and your browser and device type.
• Actions you take in the tools, such as saving a PDF or making a share link.
• Session recordings: a recording of how you use a page (clicks, scrolling, movement and what is shown on screen), used to find and fix problems.
• Error reports when something breaks.
• Your IP address, which may be used to estimate your country and city.

It uses a cookie and your browser's storage to recognize repeat visits. Analytics are not linked to your account. If a blocker stops the analytics, nothing is sent and the tools work the same.

Do Not Track: the tools don't respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals. You can block analytics with a browser setting or an extension.

Your account

• Email address. You sign in with your email. We send you a one-time code. There is no password.
• Profile. We keep your email, an account ID and the date you joined.
• Free trial. To make sure the free trial is used once per email, we keep a one-way scrambled (hashed) copy of your email address, even if your account is deleted.
• Payments. Payments will be through Stripe. We never see or store your card details.

What you save to your account

• Projects and walls you save, including their settings, notes and the names you type into report fields.
• Report branding: your company name, address, phone, email and logo, if you add them.
• Who saved last, and when.

Pictures and video are not saved to your account.

Sharing

• Presentation links and QR codes open a read-only copy of a wall for anyone who has the link, with no account needed. This includes the project name, notes and report details. Reports print the link as a QR code, so anyone holding a report can open it.
• Invite links let a signed-in person become an editor of your project. Everyone on a project can see the email addresses of the owner and the other editors.
• You can turn off any link and remove any editor at any time.

Email from us

• Sign-in emails carry your one-time code.
• Announcements go to people who sign up for them. Every announcement has an unsubscribe link.
• Feedback you send reaches us by email, with the page address, your browser type and the app version, to help us reproduce problems.

Who handles your data

We use service providers to run the tools: a hosting provider, a database and sign-in provider, an analytics provider, an email provider, a font provider and, for Pro, Stripe for payments. They handle data on our behalf, under their own terms. Data may be stored and processed in the United States.

How long we keep it

We keep your data for as long as your account is open or as long as we need it to provide and improve the tools, and as required by law. Analytics, recordings and logs are kept for a limited period and then deleted. The hashed trial record is kept indefinitely so the free trial can't be repeated.

Your choices and rights

• You can remove saved walls and turn off share links yourself.
• Contact us for removal of your data, or to see or correct what we hold about you, at feedback@show-app.com. We'll answer within 30 days.
• Depending on where you live, you may have other rights under local law. Email us and we'll honor them as that law requires.

What we don't do

• We don't sell or rent your data.
• We don't show ads or use advertising trackers.

Children

The tools are not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email us and we'll delete it.

Security

Connections are encrypted, and saved data is protected so only you and the people you share with can reach it. No system is perfectly secure.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top. Significant changes will be noted on the site.
